Installing ProBlocker on Chrome takes under 30 seconds. No account is required, and ProBlocker begins blocking ads immediately after installation.

Installation Steps

  1. Go to the Chrome Web Store listing
ProBlocker on Chrome Web Store →
  2. Click "Add to Chrome"
Click the blue button labeled "Add to Chrome" on the listing page.
  3. Confirm the installation
Chrome will show a dialog listing the permissions the extension requests. Click "Add extension" to confirm.
  4. ProBlocker is installed
The ProBlocker icon will appear in your browser toolbar (you may need to pin it from the extensions menu). ProBlocker begins blocking ads immediately — no configuration needed.

What Permissions Does ProBlocker Request?

ProBlocker requests "Read and change all your data on all websites." This permission is required for any extension that needs to intercept network requests — which is how ad blocking works. ProBlocker uses this permission to block ad and tracker requests. It does not read the content of web pages, form inputs, or passwords.

Does ProBlocker Work with Chrome's Manifest V3?

Yes. ProBlocker was built for Manifest V3 and is available in the Chrome Web Store. It is not affected by Google's MV3 enforcement that removed uBlock Origin and other MV2 extensions.
