What Is ProBlocker?
ProBlocker is a free, open-source ad blocker extension for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave, and Opera that blocks YouTube ads, pop-ups, and trackers at the network level — with no Acceptable Ads, no account, and no data collection.
Why We Built ProBlocker
Following Google's Manifest V3 enforcement in 2024, uBlock Origin — previously the most capable ad blocker for Chrome — was removed from the Chrome Web Store. We built ProBlocker to fill that gap: a fully open-source, no-compromise ad blocker that works under Manifest V3 on Chrome and under Firefox's extension standard on Firefox.
Our Principles
- No Acceptable Ads. We do not accept payment from any advertiser to allow ads through. Every ad matching our filter rules is blocked.
- No data collection. ProBlocker does not collect your browsing history, URLs, or any personal data.
- Open source. The code is public. Verify our claims yourself.
- Free, permanently. ProBlocker has no paid tier and no freemium model.
