Browser Only — Not Mobile Apps
Browser extensions only run in browsers. ProBlocker cannot block ads in the Facebook iOS or Android app, the Instagram iOS or Android app, or the Facebook Messenger app. It blocks Facebook and Instagram ads when you access those sites in a browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.).
Facebook Pixel Blocking on Other Sites
The Facebook Pixel (now called Meta Pixel) is a JavaScript tracker that Meta provides to website operators. It fires whenever you visit a page that has it installed, sending your browsing activity to Meta's servers. ProBlocker blocks Meta Pixel requests across all websites — not just on facebook.com.
