ProBlocker (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is a browser extension designed to improve your browsing experience by blocking intrusive ads. ProBlocker is developed and owned by SOT Restaurant and Lounge FZ LLC.

We take privacy seriously: ProBlocker follows a strict no-tracking, no-data-selling approach. This policy explains what data is (and is not) processed by the extension.

  • Personal browsing history, page contents, or URLs visited
  • Personally identifiable information (name, email, address, phone)
  • Account credentials or passwords
  • Payment or credit card information
  • Personal files or documents
  • Unique identifiers for tracking users across sites

Information We May Process

  • Local extension settings and preferences (stored on your device only)
  • Counts such as “ads blocked” (for on-screen display only)
  • Optional, anonymized error diagnostics strictly to improve stability (no personal data; can be disabled if provided)

We do not sell data, and we do not use data for advertising or profiling.

Data Storage and Security

Local Storage Only: ProBlocker stores its settings and preferences locally via the browser’s extension storage. This data does not leave your device unless your browser syncs extensions per your account settings.

No Remote Profiles: We do not maintain user accounts or remote databases for ProBlocker.

Filter Lists: Public ad-blocking filter lists are downloaded from their maintainers and cached locally to function; the requests do not include personal data.

Updates: Extension updates are delivered by the Chrome Web Store infrastructure.

Third-Party Services

ProBlocker does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or social widgets. We do not share data with third parties.

The extension may retrieve public filter lists from third-party maintainers solely to enable ad blocking. These downloads do not include personal data and are comparable to fetching a static file.

Your Rights

You can uninstall ProBlocker at any time, clear extension data from your browser, modify settings, or whitelist sites. You may contact us to ask about our data practices.
